![]() IWork for Mac and iOS are now available free for new devices and available today. Notably, support from iWork in iCloud means these apps are available in a browser for PC users as well. Sharing documents across devices is much easier now with support for URLs in emails or messages. IWork for iCloud now supports collaboration, a feature widely requested and supported by Google Docs for quite some time. Keynote now includes new transitions between slides, something Eddy Cue bragged were being used during the keynote. Both versions on iOS and OS X previously featured heavy elements of linen, leather, and wood, all of which are now absent. Starting with the icons, Apple redesigned its iWork applications to be more familiar across devices and supports better file compatibility. Today’s software updates are most notable as iWork previously hasn’t received an update since 2009, save for iCloud support and bug fixes. Apple unveiled all new new versions of its iWork productivity apps: Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. ![]()
